Linear Screed Drain - Overview
The Linear Screed Drain has been developed specifically for concrete or screeded floors and can be used on concrete slabs, planks and block and beam floors. The key feature of the Linear Screed Drain is it’s height - the total height from the base to the top of the trough is only 67mm.
The Linear Screed Drain was designed around the Purus Nood - a waterless trap which gives the LSD it’s minimal depth.
The Nood/Trap complies with all testing methods and has been granted BBA status.
The benefits of a waterless trap are:
- No requirement to top up the tap during long periods of non use
- No siphoning of the trap due to other appliances
- No chance of smells or gases entering the room
- Easy to clean or replace
- Waste outlet size of 1.5"
All LSD drains will come with one trough size, however the height adjustable stainless steel grill is available in the following sizes:
600mm - 800mm - 1000mm - 1200mm
All of the above sizes will fit the standard drain, we believe that it is best to install the drain first, and once the tiler is on site the right size grill can be ordered to suit your needs.
The grill is adjustable in 1mm increments from 6mm to 20mm tiles, the stainless steel is 316 marine grade.
The flow rates are:
- single outlet drain: 32ltr per minute
- double outlet drain: 50ltr per minute (independent waste pipes)
